There is a vast difference between what the manufacturers sell the
hair system to the stylist for and what the client pays the stylist for
the same hair replacements. We are a factory direct distributor for custom hair
systems. We take out the middleman and give the public a discounted
Retail price. We also offer wholesale pricing to the stylist
(qualification is necessary).

Daily wearers put double sided tape around the perimeter. Extended
wearers go to a stylist
to have the system bonded with adhesive or they may use a cable weave
track and sew method of attachment. We offer an educational
video to learn how to do the different attachments.
Yes, BUT it really depends on the type of swimming you're doing and
the method of
attachment used. Daily wearers are limited and need to be more
careful. If you plan on cliff diving or water skiing, an extended wear
method of attachment is advised.
Natural hair is constantly shedding (up to 150 hairs a day) and
replacing itself (hopefully). Because the system hair doesn't grow, its
life span is limited. Daily wear systems will last longer than extended
wear systems because sleeping and showering with them on adds to the
wear and tear. One year is average. I've seen them last from 6 months to
2 years.
It can be done either way. It's up to you and your stylist.
Fact is it shouldn't. The key in preventing hair replacements from lifting up at all
is having it made to conform correctly to the shape of your head. That
is one reason a custom system is superior to a stock piece. When you
make
your template (its really easy) be sure to use 4 layers of clear
packing tape so the template will hold the shape and contour of your
head. A system that fits well gives a more secure feeling.
First thing to do is take your system to a reputable stylist to have
it cut in on your head. Clean your system with a mild pH shampoo
(4.5-5.5). Use cream type conditioners that do NOT contain Lanolin,
polymers, or heavy oils. Be sure to keep the cream conditioner OFF the
base of the unit because it can cause the knots to soften, then hair
will fall out. Use leave on spray conditioner also to keep the hair soft
and pliable. Not conditioning at all will cause dryness and tangling.
Stay away from SD-40 alcohol based styling aids as they tend to dry the
hair. We also help educate our clients in all areas of hair
replacements.
Extended wearers average 4-6 weeks, depending on how
fast your own hair growths, natural oils in your scalp and how active
your life style is.

Could you
explain the pros and cons of synthetic vs. human hair, vs. a synthetic
human blend?
Many people have their own personal opinions and
preferences. However, we help educate clients that there are certain facts that can be made to help
make your decision. Both human and synthetic hair can experience color fading. Human hair can be re-colored, synthetic hair can't. Synthetic
systems make good daily wear systems because it has relatively low
maintenance. But if synthetic is used for extended wear (sleeping and
showering in it) it tends to go fuzzy too fast and human hair doesn't.
Synthetic hair goes flat and must be steam waved every 6-8 weeks. Human
hair can be ordered with wave up to 10mm or it can be permed (with
care). However, if the hair must be tightly curled, only synthetic can
be ordered that way. Grey hair in systems is synthetic. Grey hair makes
a good blend with a human darker color mix, because if the color fades,
it can be tinted again without covering the Grey.

What's the
difference between custom and stock hair
replacements?
Stock hair replacements are a standard size, recession and
contour. They are also limited on colors available. They are pre made
and faster to get, but do not generally fit your head properly. Custom
systems have been specially made and designed to fit best on your head
only, with your individual needs and requirements met. They look the
most real. To know for sure if what you're getting is truly a custom see
